Phase One includes adapting the surrounding environment for a larger construction project. After the completion of the extended site work, we begin Phase Two, the construction of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Wing.
Now fully restored, the Music Building includes 3 practice rooms, faculty office space and a main concert hall with state-of-the-art technology for optimal sound and studio acoustics.
For many there is a specific aspect of Foxcroft that perfectly expresses the essence of their Foxcroft experience. A named gift is a significant way to celebrate those aspects of the school which are most meaningful to you. The following list is a guide to the possibilities; it is by no means exhaustive. The Office of Institutional Advancement is delighted to work with donors, matching your gift to the area you most particularly value.
The primary music building on Foxcroft's 500 acre campus, this handsome building is designed with modern music education in mind and with flexibility and student-faculty collaboration as a main feature.
$1 million The Recital Hall is the central focal point of the School's Music Building. It is open to hundreds of students, faculty, and campus visitors on an annual basis. This space supports collaboration and is designed with state-of-the-art technology for optimal sound and studio acoustics. The Recital Hall can also be used for symposiums and guest lectures, thus illustrating the flexibility of this room.
$100,000 The large music practice room facilitates small-group learning; is a significant piece of the teaching paradigm in schools today. This model is used in a number of courses, particularly those in which students meet weekly in a small group format to practice skills and techniques.
$25,000 This is the primary faculty administrative office for the Music Building and accommodates faculty work and private meeting space.

“Singing in the new music building is amazing! If you’re shy or you’re not comfortable singing in front of other people, then you'll love the practice rooms!”

“Music means so much to me. I’ve been playing and performing music since I was a little girl. Being able to pursue my passion in music at Foxcroft has given me opportunities that I wouldn’t be able to pursue otherwise.”
— Manabi K. ’25
“When I play in the Music Building, it lets my violin sound powerful. Being able to play my violin and getting all the encouragement I need from the teachers in such a supportive community is amazing.”
